Day 6 - For Jenni

For Day 6, I am giving the gifts of prayer, support and love to my friend Jenni.  She is the same girlfriend that brought me on board to participate in this 29gift challenge - I told you all how wonderful she is in my Day 1 blog post.

Today, Jenni is mourning the loss of her friend Tim who has just passed away from cancer.  He was 35 years old.  Having lost friends to cancer before I can both sympathize and empathize with what she's going through.  Losing anyone is hard, but especially when, like Jenni and Tim, they have been friends for so long. 

Since joining the 29gifts community I have been blown away by the encouragement and love that strangers will send to one another.  It's so easy to get wrapped up in your own world, in your family and in your problems but this community is a social environment that holds you accountable for doing good - and I just LOVE that.  My blogs are a great outlet for my feelings but your comments on them just make my heart swell up with love.  I read and cherish each and every uplifting word. 

Jenni and I live apart from each other (she's in Colorado and I'm in Georgia) so I can't be there to wrap my arms around her and hug her through her pain.  So I'm asking you, my 29gifts community, to please join me in sharing love and support with Jenni today.  You can view her profile by clicking here. 

Jenni-belle, I hope you know how much this Georgia girl adores you.  Keep your chin up know that Tim will always be with you.....that he will live on through you......and that today isn't good-bye.

it is so difficult to lose a loved one, especially at such a young age. your love and support are a real help to her no matter how many miles separate you. i will be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers...thank you so much for letting us know about her circumstances. you're a good'un. Hugs, Dawn

Oh that is so sad to hear of someone so young pass away from cancer!  She is certainly in my thoughts and prayers!  I know her friend, Tim, is in a place where isn't hurting anymore from that awful illness, which is one thing you have to be thankful for at a time like this!  I know that thought alone, has gotten me thru those times!  She is lucky to have a friend like you to support her and send her love during these difficult times!

We will surround her in prayer and support...I am so sorry for her, and of course his family. Way too young to leave this world! We have a  prayer group here, the Prayer cafe that you can join and ask for prayer.You are a good friend. Even tho there are many miles that seperate you, your love and friendship will still enfold her and she will feel your  hug. xoxo
