Day 7 - Reward is in Heaven

I gave $5.00 to a stranger. I put the $5.00 bill under the wiper blades of a random car at a grocery store parking lot last night. I saw the car and just knew in my heart that the owner of THAT CAR had a need.

Initially sat a distance away in the parking lot to watch and see what would happen. I was just so excited to see their expression! God prompted me to leave. Jesus said, "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. So when you give to the needy, do not annouce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have crecieved their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." Matthew 6:1-4

I know that whoever they were, God met a $5.00 need last night... that is a wonderful reward!
