Day 7- The Gift of Patience.
Today I decided to give the gift of patience to my family. After the week with the great-grandparents, my kids have decided to NOT be on their best behavior and they have been snarky to each other and to me and my husband. During the visit the kids were as good as gold, even when we had a minor scare when my son was stepped on by a horse. (He's ok by the way, his foot is just bruised.) I decided the best gift I could give today would be to take a deep breath and be as patient as possible. The visit was nice, but it tends to stress me out. We have different religious and political views from Jason's grandparents. They are wonderful people but they tend to be pushy about the religious stuff. My husband and I basically have to hide our beliefs from our family because they wouldn't agree with our eclectic views. So whenever the grandparents leave, I tend to be a tad overeactive about things at home. That is why I decided the best gift I could give today would be patience. I also gave my dad his Father's Day present today. (He was out of town on father's day, and the gift just arrived in the mail today.) Here's hoping today is a nice day. Brightest Blessings to All.

Your gift can be the most difficult to give but you did a fine job of it~
