I've decided to start blogging my giving again, but I'm not going to pressure myself to blog every day or even to make sure that I give every day. I did complete the entire giving challenge some time ago, but I found myself actually not enjoying my giving as much as I always had previously. I think it was because feeling like I had to give made it more of a chore instead of something I actually love doing! The truth is, I do give of myself pretty much every day, even if it's nothing more than a smile. I'm always on the lookout for ways to brighten other people's days, to help with their burdens, and to do whatever I can to encourage them. It's not even something I have to think about -- it's something that I have always done naturally! It's a part of who I am. And that is why I'm here to blog about it! Many days, I feel so burdened by the pain and suffering in this world that I wonder if I'm actually making any difference at all. I forget about the things that I do. I thought if I blogged about my giving and actually made a written record of it, per se, I could look back at it and encourage myself! Plus, I know that I love coming here just to read what other people are giving. That alone encourages me! So, maybe recording what and how I give will encourage others as well. Rainbow Blessings! :o)
