Crafting is a big part of my life, I found this website through a fellow crafter on swap-bot, so it only seemed reasonable for me to start my first day of giving there.
I'm a bit of a crafty hoarder, I love picking of knick knacks that I think I will use/alter into something. Half the time I like the thing I bought so much I can't bear to cut it or change it!
At my local Sunday market I recently picked up some vintage ladies magazines, really "fabulous" ones :) I scanned a couple of the advertisements and used the images in colages but I just couldn't bear to cut the magazines up (they had lasted in perfect condition for 50 years, I wasn't going to be the one to cut them up!)
So I thought maybe one of the ladies on swap-bot would like them to re-purpose them craftily! I listed two of the four, thinking that I could still hoard two for myself, but I got two responses so quickly from the forums that I decided to send all of them away!
I think I might send a message to the ladies and ask for a photo of what they've done with the magazines - that'd be nice :)
