Day One, Cycle Two

July 31st, I was in the library to pick up a book.  As I approached the shelf, there was one book, pulled several inches out beyond the others. Hmmmm, I pay attention to the signs, I thought.  I picked up the book & it was Cami's 29 Gifts.

My birthday is August 22nd.  I had already decided to gift folks on my birthday & had been having fun thinking of the special gifts I would create. 
The book seemed perfect. I started reading it that day.  I decided I would begin August 1st. 

The 29 days in August were life changing. What I found was, along with the sheer joy of giving & surprising folks, this birthday was amazing. I received such an in~pouring of love, appreciation, & gifts.  A very different & welcome birthday celebration. 

This was not intended.  It simply happened naturally. 

So today, I begin a new cycle.  Today's gift was to a client, essentially giving her an extra session.  She was so excited!  I love when people light up with joy!

Most days, I do not pre~plan.  I ask to be guided.  Interestingly, I already know at least one of my gifting tomorrow.  A friend called, needing help crafting favors for guests at her daughter's wedding in two weeks.  I am going to help & enjoy making crafts with her & a couple of her friends who I have not met, tomorrow.  Fun!
