Days 21 - 24...Self-care

I did what I said and took the time to be still. Had some really great time on the mat and avoided coming down with a cold. Each day I gave in some way and I continue to be mindful of giving. I struggled with not posting each day and whether or not giving to myself meant I should start over, but have decided that I'm going to stick with this commitment.

Today, I gave some time to a precious friend for an online chat. And talking to her is always a gift to myself. She asked for some ideas in the kitchen, an area she struggles with and I happen to be working on a meal-planning guide sort of a cookbook. Later today I am planning to gather a week's worth of recipes and email them to her. I hope she enjoys them.

Now I am going to give to my home b/c it was sorely neglected while I cared for myself. Must strike a balance!!!
