On Sunday I began the day by trying a new exercise class after that it was a quiet at home day so I went on line in the evening and volunteered for a local charity shop. Our Granny arrived Sunday night and so we spend Monday spoiling her. My daughter made her a special breadkfast and dinner and we went to a local cafe for lunch. I received a lovely catch up email from my British friend and was relieved that her baby son's operation had been successful. I also recieved an email full of gratiitude from the young lady I sent the career help to.
Today I gave my hairdresser a bunch of flowers to celebrate the opening of her new salon. She is the best hairdresser I've ever have and as we live in a smallish coastal town some distance from the capital it is fantasic to have someone with her experience in town. She has a Border Collie pup too and we spent the morning gushing about our respective puppies.
This afternoon I got tickets for my son, my husband and myself to go to a football match on Sunday. It is my team- who is new to the nation's league and they will probably get a flogging but it will be a great afternoon for us all. My son is so excited.
Just one more gift to go. I have some ideas but I do like to wait and see what the day unfolds.
