"MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND~ A TIME TO GIVE THANKS....."
Days 26 & 27 round two
Let's see, Day 26 I taught my usual classes. I let myself try new things with a bunch of brand new students. It was a great work day.
Day 27--today-- I rearranged my meditation space and cleared out a bunch of old stuff. AND I found 48 bucks in an old pair of cut off jean shorts!!
I agreed to sub someone's classes and I agreed to sing at an event tonight.
I also recently agreed to help someone make her debut at a local open mic. We are having an interesting dialogue trying to find songs that she likes that I'm capable of accompanying her on. I can play guitar nice and steady on very simple songs. So far no dice. But I'm proud of my willingness to explain where I'm at instead of just throwing in the towel and avoiding it because it's "too complicated".
