Days 8 & 9
Wednesday, Day 8: I talked to a friend who is going to have to go to Boston for surgery. I offered to bring her there for the procedure. I am not sure if she'll take me up on it but I wanted to put the offer out there for her.
Today I reading my Bible and I came to this verse "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom." James 3 verse 10. More confirmation that we best show our love by doing for others.
For todays gift I am preparing a care package for a friend who just found out that she has cancer. I will have to mail it to her because she lives far away. But I hope it will encourage her.
