Yesterday I gave a guy $1 in San Francisco, even against my better judgement.. as there are always people asking for money where I live, it is hard to say no - but at the same time, I see the same people day in and day out... but this gentleman seemed really in need - and didn't seem to be on drugs. so I obliged.
Secondly, I bought pencils from a cute little girl who always accompanies her dad (who is a referree) at my soccer games. She is SO adorable, and she was selling scented pencils for her school for $1. I bought two :)
