29-Day Giving Challenge

Woke up with neck pain today.  One of my first thought was what can I give today with my neck hurting so badly. Later on in the morning after I found out my Chiropractor had taken a week's vacation. Bummer!

I got online and went to a support site I recently joined and read the many blogs from other people who had the same medical conditions I have.  I wrote a blog concerning my neck pain and the things that have helped me.  I mentioned that I have a water pillow that I have been using for a couple of years that has been a real lifesaver for me with my bad neck.  (Today was the first time in a long time I have had neck pain.)  A lady responded to me and asked where I got my water pillow, I told her the place I bought it online and she replied she couldn't find it there, they didn't sell them there anymore.  I did a search for it online and found a couple of places where she could buy it. I sent her the info and she was grateful for it.

Well I know this doesn't sound like much "giving".  I don't have money, we are on a fixed income, nothing left over.  I hope I can find something that sounds more like more of something, than these first two days

Keeping a positive attitude and helping others when you are in pain are wonderful gifts of kindness.  I hope you feel better soon.

Don't discount your giving. Finding the info for the lady was a great gift! If you read other's blogs on this site, you will get inspired and get ideas from others. Commenting on their blogs is also a way to give. Take care, I hope you can get some good rest tonight.

Your gifts are wonderful. You are doing for others as you are not feeling well. I wish you a pain free evening~
