Three of my office mates took purses (one insisted on giving me $5 for the two she wanted) and I placed the remaining four purses in the ladies restroom with a note saying they were free to a good home. Let the stealth giving begin! :)
This first round of giving in 2013 is reminding me to be mindful and to pay attention to the good I am doing and to give myself credit for it. On those days that I feel like I am not doing a good job of being me, this giving challenge makes me pay attention to the bigger picture. To realize that I am more than my job, the number on the scale, or my choleterol levels, or defined by how much money is in (or in my case is not) my bank account. Now that the first round is done, I am excited to think of ways to start round two for 2013!
