29-Day Giving Challenge

 GC 13

Saturday came in the north east with a cold frost and hit my fig tree hard. I went out early and picked the last 6 figs to bring to my dad in the nursing facility. His eyes filled with joy and a bit of sad when I told him they were the last of the season. It was as it should be I gave him the first figs and the last figs of the season. I love him so much! It was chilly most of the day so I also took some time and made my family chocolate chip cookies. My 2 year old was over the moon

Sunday I gave to the lord and we prayed a lot and thanked god for everything we had. We started teaching the 2 year old the Lord’s Prayer but he just says amen part right now.

Something about the cold makes you want to bake, doesn't it?  I remember teaching my kids prayers and it is amazing what they pick up, just by repeating them every night.
