GC 19, 20, 21, 22

GC 19 The gift of sisterhood. Friday was a hard day for my sister and I. I am not going to go into it but my gift for the day was to give my sister all my love and support. She raised me and is my best friend. I think the world of her. I'm sure god gave us each other for times like these.

GC 20 The gift of cleaning out the stress. Saturday was a time for opening up the windows starting fresh. I know this probably sounds strange but when things start to pile on your plate your house is the first place that chaos manifests. I took Saturday and gave the gift of cleaning out and rooms, getting laundry done, fixing the closets for winter and getting my house back in order. It was good for my family and we all seemed calmer for the rest of the weekend.

GC 21 The gift of friendship and time. Sunday I took the hour and 15 min a ride to visit a friend who just had a baby. I spent 2 hours with her and her 4 year old. Gifting your time can be so rewarding

GC 22 the gift of a hat. I argue with a collogue of mine over hockey and with this season in jeopardy we talk a lot. I was able to get a hat for his favorite team on sale (it was in the clearance bin! My teams hats were full price I might add) he was so surprised... His said I made his day!

I have a sister-mother, too - I know yours appreciated the support. I'm a hockey fan, too, and after living in several NHL cities, I've noticed that local team items are always full-price, while distant teams...well, yes, clearance bin :)
