Friends across the phone lines
One of my best girlfriends lives in NC 10 hours away from me. Our children are close in age and we have gone through the loss of her parents and my father’s stroke. She is like a sister to me and an aunt to my child. Lately we have been playing phone tag and I can tell we NEED some girl time. I asked my husband to take my child for bath time so I could give an hour to my friend. We spent the time laughing and planning and just being friends again. I feel like this gift was not just for her but for both of us.
