gift #1 and #2
It was relatively late when I joined yesterday so my first gift was pretty small. After dinner I found some hidden chocolates and took out one for me and two for my husband, (usually I insist on equal shares to start out). Some were heart shaped and some were square. I sat beside him and said " here, I give you my heart, .... and my square." We both laughed.
Today is my regular day to serve tea at our hospital and one of my friends has recently become one of the extended care residents. This afternoon, I put an iris in a small vase and took it along and gave it to my friend during my tea round. Not much but still fun.

These were wonderful gives. A great way to start of the challenge, your heart to your husband, and the square and flower to brighten your friend's day.
