Gift 3: spreading the word

Today I led a discussion group on "29 Gifts" with students at my high school. The students chose to read the book for their summer reading assignment.

The discussion went well and the kids came up with some great questions and dialogue.

I asked the students if anyone had tried the 29 day giving challenge. No one in the group had tried it as of yet. I was shocked, so I spent some time telling them all the positive reasons for doing the challenge. We discussed my first 29 day giving challenge and I gave them some good advice and ideas to get started.

I challenged each one of them to go onto the site and find me in the online community. This was my gift for today. Hopefully I have inspired them to join the movement and to get involved in giving each day.

This is my second time around and I want to make this more than a 29 day event...I will give every day!
