Gift Nine - Something Small For A "New" Colleague

I started a new job today. I have worked for this Company before so it is not an entirely new environment for me.

I have made friends with a few people but 1 in particular ... and as it turns out - it is her job that I am taking and she is going to be training me for the next week.

She has been promoted and is still in the Company (a HUGE help to me) and seeing as we are both starting "new" jobs this year, I decided to get her a small gift ... a plant for her desk.

This to me has more meaning than just being a plant. It is also symbolic of life, and new beginnings.

She was so excited with her gift and in return she gave me a thank you card, which she hand wrote while I was not looking. I thought this was sweet and definitely sentimental :)
