Today we had a community yard sale. I thought I would go there and try to sell some things that I knew were of value, that other people would like and could use. It was a very interesting practice. I did not realize the attachement, the value and the memories I had placed on these material "things".
In the end it was a great practice. I ended up giving away things, to people I felt guided to give things away to. I ended up gifting some very nice items and it felt so good to know that they will now have a good new home. So here is my tip for the day: go through your home, when you find things that you love, but have not used in a while- practice the gift of giving. There is alway someone who may need something more than you and you never know how that gift could make someone's day, or change their life in some way...

You did well, letting go of things that meant something to you at one time. I am sure the items found great new homes!
:o) Fabulous, Susan!
