Hug O' War~

Kenny is an avid reader like me.  Thursday, after my reading class with the kids, I had to help Kenny get her backpack loaded. Once done, it weighed more than her. She had visited the library and got way too many books. I had to carry it to the car and I struggled with it.. :o) I don't want to tell her to cut down on reading so I guess it will be ok...

She was reading a book by Shel Silverstein and she found this poem and thought you all might like it. I LOVE it! Here goes, enjoy!

                                            Hug O' War

 

       I will not play at tug o' war.

       I'd rather play at hug o' war,

       Where everyone hugs

       Instead of tugs,

       Where everyone giggles

       And rolls on the rug,

       Where everyone kisses,

       And everyone grins,

       And everyone cuddles,

       And everyone wins..
