Today's gift is to me-I am leaving to visit family and friends tomorrow and need to get things organized and cleaned before I leave. Helps me to free my mind when I'm gone-I won't be thinking about all the things I need to do when I get back.

Gave the gift of patience to my son yesterday when riding in the car with him as he drove with his learner's permit. Believe me, that takes lots of patience. He is doing much better and I'm not as panicked as the first time. Still hate it though.

Complimented a friend and co-worker at work the other day. She has lost 100 pounds by watching what she is eating and exercise. She looks awesome!

Got new brakes for my car-does a gift to an automobile count? It was a $300 gift, but she is worth it. 207,000 miles and still going strong.

your friend put a lot of time and effort into her weight loss and i am sure she appreciates your recognition and compliments. i remember when my son was putting in his driving practice hours, how hard it was for me to keep my mouth shut. your patience was a wonderful gift to him! hope you enjoy your visit.
