29-Day Giving Challenge

I am still alive. ;)

Not giving much at the moment, but when we drove into Portland for my dr visit on Tuesday, we gave a young woman one of my homeless bags. She was grateful.

I've also been trying to help people in my online medical groups, mostly finding links to things. I have an enormous collection of bookmarks and files in my dropbox, and usually have what they are looking for.

Today I did a small "random act of kindness"/tiny art installation, I made a small stick weaving last week, and we went out to a store today, so I left it where it could be found (in a planter area near the store entrance). I didn't have a 29 Gifts card with me, but I DID have a Smile card so I put that on the stick, so someone finding it would know it was a gift. When we left the store, it was still there but JUST as I passed it by, two women came in the opposite direction and looked at it and were very excited, and took it with them. Our car was parked right next to it so we got to see them reacting. That was fun (not the point by any means, but still fun).

what a neat way to give! it's so much fun when you get the bonus of 'being a fly on the wall' and seeing the reaction of a random give like that :o)  you are in my prayers always... Hugs, Dawn
