With my depression beating me about the head and ears this month, I'm glad I took 29 days to Give to myself. Just consciously Giving my Self a break made the situation a bit more bearable.
Feb. 28th: I took my last hour of work and attended a lecture called "Jesus: One Man, Two Faiths", in which was discussed Jesus' role in both Christianity and Islam. You'd be amazed how similar the esteem two hold the same man, especially when you hear all the time how different they are.
March 1st: In preparation of the BUSY week, I took last night to watch 2 episodes of Battlestar Galactica and knit the cuff on my 2nd sock, with my fabulous love sitting right next to me, cuddling.
Today I will begin 29 Days of Creation, where I will consciously pick one thing to Make/Create/Birth a day. If you would like to hear about it, just comment below and I'll start that particular blog.

Comment by Toni on March 2, 2011 at 7:01am The lecture sounds very enlightening. It is a shame that our world always seems to focus on people's differences instead of our similarities. If we could just concentrate on how much we are all the same -- and then embrace the differences that make us interesting individuals we could all get along and oh what a wonderful world it would be.
Yes, I would love to hear about your 29 Days of Creation.
The chorus to Jo Dee Mesina's Song "I Wish" sums up my wish for you:
I wish you strength
When times are hard
Oh I wish with all my heart you find what
you're looking for
I wish you joy
I wish you peace
And that every star you see's within your reach
