I’ve totally lost count of which day I’m on.
First, I want to thank all of you for your sweet responses to my post about my brother.
It is an amazing and wonderful phenomenon, these internet ‘friendships’ which are such great blessings. As you would imagine, most of my gives over the last few days have had to do with informing friends and family members and sharing comfort and support with one another.
I have one more thing I’d like to post here about him. My brother loved music, as I wrote in my initial post. There is one special song that I promised him I would send him ‘out’ with. I have shared it with all our family..but I’m going to add you guys to the mix. If you wish, have a listen and give a cheery goodbye and good journey to my brother, Deyone. (Dee-ON)

Me, too, Dawn. Actually, the last time Chuck and I had a real vacation, many years ago, just before we left, we got a call that Deyone was in a coma and was in really bad shape. Of course, off we went to the hospital. Once he was stabilized and come around, everybody, including the Dr., all but pushed us out the door to continue with our vacation. We were going to Colorado, where Deyone and I grew up. The next morning, I called the hospital and got to talk to him. He was 'fine.' When we first got into those beautiful rocky mountains that day, I put that song on the tape player and cried my heart out. It's been a very special song to me ever since. And, he is the one who first introduced me to Clayderman...and gave me the tape with that song on it.

what a hauntingly beautiful and soul-stirring composition! i listened to it twice and held Deyone in my thoughts. i can imagine his soul soaring through the heavens when i hear this music. no wonder he loved it. Hugs, Dawn
