29-Day Giving Challenge

I was dx with MS on march 21, 2011 up to then my life was normal (at least what i thought was normal) planning a wedding and loving my life. To hear i had MS i at first was in shock , the next day i got fired from my job ,they did not want me going to dr. appointments.I have been so sad lately keep asking myself, why me?, I cancelled my wedding for now, it's just to much to deal with.As i been feeling sorry for myself i watched my 17yr old daughter and fiance be the rock I need . They show so much love and give from the heart, and i been to blind to see. I payed their cell phone bills today in the morning without them knowing it ,i gave my daughter my beloved quilt that i never part with because i hope it feel like a hug to her when she uses it.I have recieived a great gift in both of them and there is noting more then that i hope when they find out that they have a bit of extra money to use this morning they understand it was done for them for the love they show on a daily bases.I do not want to feel sorry for myself there are far better things in this world for me to use my enery on then that so today i cant wait what this challenge will do as i change my life a litttle at a time.

Ana, as a fellow MS patient, I understand the feelings you're expressing.  First of all, I think there are laws against firing you for dr visits especially if you have a confirmed diagnosis as major as MS, but ask yourself honestly, do you want to work for people as cold and callous as that?  Maybe this is a chance to make the break you've been wanting. Secondly, take some time to mourn.  Cry, hit a pillow, break something if you must.  MS is a really sucky diagnosis, but if you're like me, it sure explains a lot of issues in the past, doesn't it?  Third, DON'T READILY ACCEPT IT! MS is one of the broadest medical conditions on the books with only four limited treatment options.  Study the options.  Try some alternatives.  I've done homeopathy (a LOT of chemical detoxification which is REALLY common with MS diagnosis!!) and now NAET with staggering results!  My neurologist was initially outraged and now she can't believe her eyes.  She's told me to never let anyone talk me out of what I'm doing because I'm having such unbelievable results.  If you try other options and don't find relief, continue with the western medical options.  Just go into it with as much knowledge as you can find!  I wish you great healing and peace of mind and heart no matter the course you choose to follow!  Please LMK if you'd like to talk.  Sharing my experiences has helped a lot of people find greater healing than western meds alone!!
