My greatest blessings 2011

This time of year I love to look back on all the blessings I’ve received throughout the year  - a very enriching and humbling experience. Early this year, I was introduced to the 29-gifts challenge and I am sometimes overawed by the totality of this experience since then.

• I have learned at last that the answer to finding real meaning in life is actually quite simple – focus outward instead of on myself; the more I give, the more joyful and meaningful my existence
• When I’m out of ideas for giving, the opportunities actually present themselves; my eyes have been opened
• When my heart closes up, very soon someone will nudge it open just by being there and giving of themselves
• I am making some progress on the road to giving without being attached to any outcome and find it so liberating

Although I'm a bit early, may I use this opportunity to wish all of you, wherever you are, a joyful festive season. May the new year bring all of you blessings in abundance. Much love
