i had an 18 year old employee who has had a rough life, i gave her a job, she was living in a car, she needed $100.00 to get her pup out of the pound, she never asked me for it, i just gave it to her, she said she would pay me back. i told her it was a gift, she could pay me back by being a good employee and getting her life in order, that woud be what i would receive, the next day she left work early, she didn't show up the following day. I know no matter what the reciprient of my gift does or doesn't do, doesn't change my gift. i hope she got her pup and loves and takes care of it
I guess i need to give more

Comment by Valerie (wwt) on June 24, 2012 at 10:18am Great attitude Redreb!! Our responsibility is to give and hopefully to do so without expectations. Giving is a gift to ourselves ans well as to the receiver. Remember what Jesus said in the beatitudes in the book of Matthew in the New Testament? "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
You give so much. Never feel it is not enough. I will pray for her...
Even if you don't see her again, I'm guessing she will never forget you.
Your generosity was awesome, I am sure she appreciated what you did for her. Welcome aboard, it is so nice to meet you!
