Greetings once again. Since the last time I've been here things have changed for me, especially with college, and other matters. But I'm back yet again, here to fulfill my duties here, only this time, it's personal. I came back here because I wanted to offer a different perspective for you readers, perhaps something that you can relate to.
All of the blogs here, no matter who they are from, are worthy of being read since all of you are trying to contribute something better to society, in one way or another. That's very good. Sometimes though, bad things can happen in your daily life. And it might hinder you from doing good for people, depending on the person. It doesn't have to be that way though, as I have learned from others that just because you go through a series of unfortunate events, doesn't mean you have to stay bitter. It's something I've come to realize. Because regardless, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
For me, I have always been mystified and captivated by the darker side of life. Since I was little, I have understood that the world can be a scary place, but you can take everything that has happened to you, save it in your pocket and call it wisdom. It is a positive thing. By embracing this aspect, I feel, at least for some that can relate to me, that there is a flip side to everything. The fact of the matter is, there is no day without night, there is no light without dark.
Honestly, I'm not trying to be rude, but trying to offer a different approach to some people here. I'm not going to sugar coat anything because sometimes life is not all flowers and daisy's, but in a way, there is beauty in darkness. For me, living with this darker mindset allows you to take the good with the bad. You harness all your wisdom for the better through times of despair. But even still, appreciating darkness doesn't necessarily mean rejoicing in all the bad that happens in the world. Rather, it just means taking bad things that have happened to you and turn them into something good.
With this mindset I have, I have felt more liberated and at peace within myself. Offer me your perspectives in light and dark. Enlighten me if you wish it.

Sounds like you are emptying your cup, so it can hold more good stuff. The only way it can accept more. My belief is we all came from a place of light, and will return to light. We are here for a moment only, in the scheme of eternity. We choose to come here to experience and learn from the dark, but we are not of it.Thanks for sharing, love the picture!
This is a beautiful post. We do all go through tough (or dark times) but these times have just as much (sometimes more) to teach us as good times. I truly believe that we can not know true joy until we have experienced sorrow. The road may seem uphill for you right now, but I know you are very strong and you will get through it changed but still whole and beautiful. Remember we are all here for you.
Thank you...
Welcome back, Marlina, I'm glad you are here with us again....your post is very interesting and makes one think.Take care, you are among friends here.
