A shorter post tonight :) Today's gifts were 1) (yet again) a grocery gift card to be given to someone who needs it, via a cashier, 2) an email to my Awakening Joy "buddy" and 3) I clicked on all the Greater Good sites, which I haven't done in a while.
I still haven't heard from the school in Belize about the correct shipping address. Amazon says they have an address on file, but the email in which the school requested items said "Contact us for the best shipping address." My only credit card is one that I pre-load, and I realized there's not enough on there to buy a book and shipping - even though the books are relatively inexpensive. So I may have to wait on that, but I will post the info as soon as I receive it.
My sister (the one I'm closest to, and who has been my mirror and companion on this journey, even from 5000 miles away) sent me money as an early birthday present (my b'day is Monday). It was more than I expected, and I know it's a stretch for her, so I am immensely appreciative. As I told her, it will cover my phone and Internet bills, both of which are coming due - probably not the ideal use for a birthday present, but definitely a blessing!
I know from experience that my "job" right now is not to push and try and force anything, but to pay attention and stay grounded - worrying only makes me miserable (I love when I can actually feel that and not just say it!). And it will all work out. I know that. I don't know how, yet, but it will. I have so much to appreciate in my life, and focusing on that makes me feel good, so that's what I'm doing. I'm holding the vision of myself healthy (which I already am, thankfully), happy (mostly ditto), prosperous (it will come again) and doing what I'm meant to be doing (not sure what that is, in this next phase, but we'll see).
Hope you all had a wonderful Thursday. Cheers!
