Today's gifts were light but intentional: I took goodies to the soup kitchen and chatted with some of the volunteers (ok, the chatting wasn't necessarily a gift, just fun); I left a Post-it note in a washroom ("SMILE - You are a gift to the world. Have a wonderful day!"), $2 to the food bank and clicking on my friend's dog's audition page.
I'm so, so, so happy to say that the situation that's had me up and down over the past week took a turn for the better last night, in an almost miraculous way. This is the same connection that began shifting (in ways I hadn't thought possible) when I first began giving a year ago. I'd really been questioning myself and my perceptions, and what I received last night was a huge gift. It's a reminder to keep following my path - and giving is central to it - and the rest will fall into place.
Still not sure about September work, but I'm trusting something will flow in.
Hope you all had a great Friday. Happy weekend! Cheers!
