R2 D15 & 16 & 17

Day 15 My gift was holding space for two senior ladies (who I was jsut meeting for the first time) with various access issues and helping them both get to and from a church potluck. 

Day 16 My gift was being kind to a stranger in a bathroom at Metro Market who was asking me about my tattoos. This feels like a gift every time I exercise it. http://thegloss.com/beauty/please-stop-asking-me-what-my-tattoos-me...

Now that I'm practicing the mental flexibility that the giving challenge has afforded me I find I can easily move conversations with strangers away from my "actual" tattoos to something safer and more comfortable for me to talk about - being intentional about body art, shopping around for a great artist, waiting for the right time or established in your career before getting a huge piece or the fact that less than 20% of tattoo artists are women. 

Day 17 I'm giving myself a gift today and it may last longer than today. I'm on an input diet. I'm staying away from my massive internet and reading download I do every day. I'm still going to function and check email and log in here but I'm going to see if I do more writing, art, and self reflection with the extra time:) This gift was suggested in the book, the Artist Way by Julia Cameron.
