Today my gift was connecting someone who was looking for a specific community of folks in the Seattle area. I've lived here my whole life and I tend to collect people and lists:) So, today I went through my fb and email invites and added this person and connected them to the communities they were looking for... It took some time for me to add them & filter a ton of stuff but I've heard that it can feel so isolating some times. In Seattle people are friendly superficially but not warm or friend-like under that, you get the "Seattle freeze." I explained that to the new person and connected them today:) http://www.everywhereist.com/the-seattle-freeze-making-friendships-...
not frozen,

You go above and beyond every day to help others!
That is a great way to help a friend. You are in no way a part of the "freeze"!!
