Update: everything went really well on Sunday. I had good but brief chats with the Director for RE for children and the Reverend.
My gift on Sunday was to make brownies for my partner as she was having a chocolate craving. I wasn't really interested in them so I didn't have any. It just felt like a treat to bake them for her:)
