it rained all day today and i didn't leave home at all, which kind of limited my giving possibilities. i had decided yesterday that i wanted to make a baby quilt for a young lady who went to school with my son, so i spent most of the day working on that. it's not anything fancy, but it's bright and cheerful, with a big yellow smiling sun in the middle of it. i think she'll like it.
then this afternoon my neighbors and friends/landlords asked me if i knew anyone who wanted some peaches. they have a little peach tree, that has been just overloaded with little peaches this year and they've had all they wanted. i thought of my friend Janice ( that i helped pick figs) and called her. sure enough, she was thrilled! so i have a five gallon bucket full of peaches for her sitting in my sewing room now til i can get them to her tomorrow.

The quilt will bring joy and the peaches will surely make the day!
The quilt already sounds beautiful! You didn't have a problem finding different ways to give....those peaches will probably make some delicious jam or pies or cobblers......YUMMY!
Sounds to me like you had a full day of giving from your heart!
sounds just peachy :)
