Round 2 - Day 10
Last term I was really fortunate to have the opportunity to doing a prac placement in a grade 4 classroom. I had such a great rapport with the teacher, I learnt so much, in fact it's the most comfortable and confident I've ever felt teaching in a classroom.
Today was my first day of volunteering with that class. I had such a positive experience that I've made the commitment to volunteer 1-2 days per week for the rest of the term. It was so wonderful seeing the children again, I gave the gift of focused attention as they excitedly showed me the work they've done since starting back this term. I was also really generous with my praise and encouragement. It was a great day!!
Tonight I am going around to my brother in laws house to help him with some writing.
