The power of ‘thank you’.
Lately I have become quite addicted to Pinterest, it’s like a virtual vision board...I love it! This morning while I was browsing I came across the photography of Jade Beall. Jade has a ‘Body Beautiful’ project which is aimed at celebrating women and redefining our perception of what beauty really is. In a society where we are constantly bombarded with unrealistic and photo-shopped images of what we should look like, I think that it’s really refreshing to see a project like this come to fruition.
I was so touched that I shared with many friends of mine who have either just had a baby or who are currently pregnant. I also took the time to email Jade and send a personal thank you for her contribution towards inspiring woman to love and accept themselves as they are....right now, stretchmarks and all!
I also purchased a beautiful thank you card to send to a wonderful mentor of mine who has supported me through some big emotional break throughs.
There is such power and beauty when women support and encourage one another!

I love Pinterest too! (My girls and I now call the internet the Pinternet.) Thank you for the recommendation, I'm going to check out Jade Beall's work.
Telling someone how much they mean to you is one of the very best gifts IMO. THank you so much for sharing this post. You've given my day a great start. Hope you have a good day too.
