Round 2- Day 23- Some supplies for the animals!
I spent the afternoon with some of my favorite 4th graders who are working with my organization on a project about animals. They decided about a month ago that they were going to collect supplies for local animal shelters to donate them. Today was their first collection day and I decided to contribute with some pet food and some detergent (the shelter uses detergent to clean the towels, beds, etc!) They did such a wonderful job at not only getting the word out about their supply drive but in educating other students in their school about proper animal care. It was the most wonderful thing and such a fantastic way to spread joy to other students and animals!

This is an awesome way to get the kids involved and make them realize what it takes to take care of the animals.
