Round 9 Day 5

It's my son's birthday today.He's feeling a little low as he couldn't go to school nor he could invite his friends over due to his illness.Moreover his exam which he had to miss earlier has been rescheduled for tomorrow and so he will have to study whole day.I consoled him and told him that we will have our own little celebration in the evening and when he gets better,we will go out for dinner and also he can treat his friends later wherever he wishes.He got two sweatshirts and a new pair of shoes as bday present and i promised to buy him a pair of jeans as soon as he is able to go out to the market.Mom set aside some wheat flour and sugar to give away as donation.I brought pastries for my team at office.In the evening,I will take home my son's favourite black forest cake and pizza for him.

There is nothing worse than being sick on your birthday when you are a kid.  Happy Birthday wishes to your son!  Pizza and cake for dinner!  Way to go, Mom!
