Round 9 Days 14-18

Day 14 Blessings to someone whose mother is not well.

Day 15 helped my mom in domestic chores.

Day 16 gift of rest and sleep to myself.also helped a little in kitchen.

Day 17 Someone called up inquiring about registration of 'Art of Silence' course.I gave her all the details and did the needful to get her registration done.

Day 18Today is the first day of 'Navratri'.The word Navaratri literally means nine nights in Sanskrit, nava meaning nine and ratri meaning nights.Navarathri is celebrated in India with much fervor by fasting and worshiping the Mother Goddess in her different forms.

I started my navratri fasts today.I went to the temple in the morning.This is the first time i have gone to the temple during navratri though i have been fasting during navratri from many years.I felt so calm and peaceful there.In the temple,some construction work is going on.I donated hundred rupees towards it.

Also registered another person for the 'Art of Silence' course.

I think the gift of sleep is one of the best things we can give ourselves. I always find houses of worship peaceful as well.
