I am not bubbling over with post-holiday cheer. I'm exhausted from all the driving to see family and feeling fat and bloated from eating all the FOOD the holidays are made of. It was great to see my grandma, my parents, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. New hubby, Kevin, fit in famously with the family. My favorite non-material gift given in December was a love note written to Kevin on our three-month anniversary.

Thank God for great friends, who are helping us with housing the first couple months while Kevin finds work.
