Today I shared with my daughter that I hadn't posted in my blog sinceWednesday. She said that everyday wasn't a requirement, but that it s a great tracking system. Truth be told she gives\offers something to me everyday. At my age this is usually a challenge in itself or a "come to Jesus" sort of thing. Oh well, t is a gift from a generous spirit. So----let's see if I can back step.
Saturday--First day of Spring Break. A gift of a beautiful day to me from me. I went to the feed store (a favorite\exensive) store, cleaned up the back deck, and planted new herbs. Best of all I rejoiced in getting the title to my Jeep that was finally paid off ----a gift to self of perserverance since my husbands stroke.
Friday---As one of my very favorite parents was leaving, I asked her what she was doing for Spring Break. She said , The girls are going with their grandmothers and my husband and I are going to the lake to just sit and relax. She has done so very much this year for the family that lost their mother to breast cancer and not even given it a thought. I ran into my office and grabbed my copy of 29-Day Giving Challengeand handed to her. "Sarah read this and rejoice in who you are".
Thursday--I brought in a dish for a friends lunch.
