I hope that your gifting is going well! Yesterday, my parents, my sisters and I biked 84 miles from Wellesley to Bourne, Massachusetts in the Pan-Mass Challenge. The Pan-Mass Challenge was founded in 1980 and raises the most money of all athletic fundraising events in the country. For every dollar that is donated to the PMC, 99 cents goes directly to Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund, organizations on the cutting edge of cancer research.
With each donation Dana Farber and the Jimmy Fund can come closer to finding a cure. This year, I am hoping to raise $3,000 for this great cause. If you would like to help me reach my goal, you can contribute online athttps://www.pmc.org/donation.asp, and my egift ID is HC0033. Just remember, even the smallest donation counts!!
Cancer truly is something that affects all of our lives. Yesterday was my second ride in the Pan-Mass Challenge and I was once again reminded of what a fantastic cause it is. From the people standing at the end of their driveways cheering at 7 A.M. to the volunteers filling water bottles and that new friend who helps you up the biggest hill, everyone is simply brimming with positive energy, friendliness and encouragement. It was especially amazing to see these qualities present in such a huge number of people all in one place. With a group that enthusiastic and committed, I really do believe that we can make a huge difference in the lives of millions.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope that you will join me in supporting the PMC!
