It's prep day for hubby, for THAT procedure at the gastroenterologist. Polyps are a bad thing, of course, and it's wise to take measures against them -- but if only the preparations were easier. Except for taking a kitty to the vet for her check-up, I've been home today to look after hubby, make sure he's getting his liquids, fixing warm broth for him when he wants a change from sweet Jell-O, and generally providing comfort. Also did his Thursday task of rounding up the household trash and taking it out to the curb.
(Also, while home, worked on canning pears. My little dwarf Bartlett yielded a half-bushel this year, which is as much as I usually buy for canning, and after picking them slightly green and letting them ripen, about two-thirds of them were ready for the canner today. Mmm, laying away delicious treasures for winter!)
