Today was my stepson's wedding! Well, most of the afternoon was a long, long, looooong mulit-hour photography session, followed by a very short ceremony, then the reception. Today's gift was being there and being friendly to all. Both bride and groom have parents and step-parents, with the multiple relations that go with cobbled-together families, so it was essential to be on good terms with everyone. I met some of my stepson's relations that I hadn't met before, and kept everything upbeat with his mother's side of the family. Since I'm pretty introverted, it was easy to get overstimulated at several points, especially when the loud disco music and dancing started up at the reception, but giving myself a few moments to close my eyes and have an attitude adjustment, I was able to step up and join in.
Now to look through the pictures that we took and find a few that came out.
