Did my "click-to-donate" sites this evening to wind down after coming home from work.
I got to spend time with a friend I haven't seen for a long while, since our grad school days six or seven years ago. She lives and teaches in Korea, so it's not exactly a hop, skip, and a jump to go visit!
Spent some time for myself on the e-couch website (there's also its corollary site, mood gym) working on negative self-messages. Spent some time thinking about and writing about where those message came from, how I learned them in my family and who conveyed those messages -- not to blame and say, "It's all your fault," but to understand and re-think the family scripts, understand how they've affected me, and what I can do about them.

I am so glad you got to spend time with your friend -- that was a gift fo both of you. Thanks for the info on the sites -- I will check them out.
Thanks for the site info!
That must have been awesome to reconnect with your friend! And thanks for the heads up on these websites...that may help someone here on the site if they have never heard of them.
