Third Round 2, Day 24: Litter pick-up, and an evening to myself
When I pulled into the parking lot at work this morning, there was a paper cup left by my car. When I went back to my car this evening, it was still there. I picked it up, along with other trash that had been dropped, and carried the stuff to the nearest trash can.
Hubby is out this evening with school conferences, so I had a quiet evening to myself. I stopped at the store and picked up some things for dinner so I didn't have to cook, and after the cats and I were fed, I sat down to knit and watch a movie.Emma, the version with Gwyneth Paltrow, was just right for a quiet evening -- well-chosen cast and beautiful photography (though it helps if you know the book well, because the story is rather compressed).
