Third Round 2, Day 28: Busy day, small donation
I made an at-register donation to pet shelters while out shopping for groceries and pet food today. It was a busy day otherwise, getting lots of little things done around the house, putting a cold frame over the lettuce seedlings to keep them going, and starting Christmas cookies. Yes, Christmas cookies in October. I'm following my mother's example, starting them early one batch at a time and putting them in the freezer. I figure if I do the baking and gift-buying and wrapping early, I may actually have some relaxing down time when Christmas break rolls around. Molasses crinkles today -- mmm, they made the house smell spicy!
