Kahlil Gibran:
“You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.”
Giving water from a dry well. Woke up tired today with an unquenchable thirst. Took my 87 year old mother and her dear caregiver grocery shopping with my husband's assistance. Bought everyone a Coffee Coolata from Dunkin Donuts to kick start the trip. After returning them home safely and helping to put the groceries away, my husband and I went to visit his 86 year old mother and her caregiver. We returned home and put our groceries away.
For well over a year now, I have been a virtual volunteer... working daily on the welcoming committee and the birthday committee of IDC. IDC is an online social networking site for people with invisible disabilities. http://www.invisibledisabilitiescommunity.org/
Welcomed the newbies and wished Happy Birthday to those whose birth fell on today's date. Time to take a nap and refill the well.Comment
