This has been a pleasant surprise to me and I appreciate the notes from
Elly Rose, Stacey S and Cindy. I truly have enjoyed the re-focus when starting my day as I am one of the lucky ones that can get ready for the day in peace and quiet since I leave for work at 6am. I found that planning my daily gift was a happy and relaxing time. Again, thanks for the encouragement and visits. BethM
Dear Elly Rose - i got your beautiful card and the picture from Kathy in the mail today. what a great surprise! it really made my day. i hope you are doing okay. Hugs, Dawn
Oh Elly Rose you have been a huge help to so many newcomers! And that has been a real gift to all of us! I hope you take some time for yourself and feel some relaxation and relief coming into your days!
Thank you all for your support, I am enjoying my journey so far. I am not very good at moving through this site. I don't allow myself enough time to look through. I hope to have more time next week. What a wonderful group of people who are doing so much to help so many. Very inspiring.
Elly it was an awesome idea you gave about handing out cards telling where to get help with your gives to the homeless!! I think that is a brilliant idea!!
Thank you for the welcoming! I am sorry it took so long to respond. It has been a long month but I am focusing more now on what this challenge means and to really put myself out there.

You know I started Yoga, have only done it a few times but I'm liking this because I am looking for something to control my anxiety rather than medication. I know meditation goes along with this. Meditation is hard for me because my mind is so used to racing from one thing to another. Then I start thinking about all the things I should be doing, anyway, I will continue to work on this because I think it would be useful. Do you really find it helpful?
Thank you, Elly! I am having fun with this...not that I've been posting consistently every day, but I have been giving every day...even little things like giving a 20% off coupon to the man behind me in line at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Hi Elly, somedays it's really hard to stay sane with my girls. My mom keeps telling me that time will fly by, well right now I'm hoping that it does or I may have to put myself in an institution, ha. I love my girls more than anything but wow can they push every button I have.
Hello Elly Rose, thanks for the welcome. I was quite surprised by the warm welcome from the girls. Still figuring out the blog and how everything works, very new to all this. Love reading blogs!! Just never had one of my own. Thanks again. x
So glad I could help you, maybe that is the reason I felt so compelled to write my blog today. I am so very lucky to have met you and I thank God that he sent you to me. Thanks for being such a great friend to me!
Love,
Stacey

there is no gift too small and you are doing this for you but i understand your struggle. somehow a daily good deed feels devoid of goodness if you run around telling people about it. you don't have to write what you gave, you can just do a creati...
It is so difficult to loose a loved one. I hope that you will eventually find yourself peaceful and at ease. You are a continuation of your grandmother. She is still with you.

Last night after work I went down to Washington Square Park for a World AIDS day rally. It was great. I was surrounded by many who had lost many to HIV/AIDS and/or living with it just like me. I, for one, kept thinking about my mission in this lif...
